Overview

More than a power check.

Most optical stores check only your power. A comprehensive examination covers vision and refraction, the front of the eye, eye pressure and the retina in a single visit, so problems beyond blurred vision are picked up early.

A prescription is provided at the end of every examination. If a condition needs treatment or surgery, you are referred to our eye doctor and your follow-up care continues here at the centre.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

No. Eye check-ups are walk-in, Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM. Only ROP screening for infants needs to be booked in advance.

Most adults benefit from a full examination every one to two years. Children, people with diabetes or high blood pressure, and anyone with a family history of eye disease should be checked more often, as advised by the optometrist.

Yes. A prescription is provided after every eye examination, even if you decide not to buy glasses here.

Yes. Children often do not complain about blurred vision because they assume everyone sees the same way. A full examination before school age, and regularly after that, helps find short-sightedness, long-sightedness, squint and lazy eye early.
